Job Description

Responsible for planning, coordinating and directing the school's development, fundraising, communications, and marketing. to continue to strengthen and enhance the future of the school by cultivating meaningful involvement and financial support from the community in support of its strategic plans. Is a member of the administrative team and will work closely with related committees of the School Board of Specified Jurisdiction. This is a full-time, 12-month, exempt position that is hired by and reports to the Principal. Specific duties (in an abbreviated description) include: Create and implement an advancement program; Manage identification, cultivation, solicitation and stewardship of prospects and donors; Utilize best practices in annual giving, major donor cultivation, and planned giving; Work with the Board Development Committee to develop and execute donor acknowledgement and recognition opportunities; Prepare Sabre Spirit newsletters twice a year and oversee management of all marketing publications and communications; Represent the school at on- and off-campus events, driving initiatives to attract and retain students to ensure enrollment numbers support the school's growth and sustainability.
