Job Description

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate High School English Teacher with AP experience to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to fostering a positive learning environment that encourages student engagement and academic growth. This role involves teaching various subjects, mentoring students, and collaborating with fellow educators to enhance the overall educational experience.
Duties
Develop and implement lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and cater to diverse learning styles.
Utilize effective classroom management techniques to maintain an orderly and productive classroom environment.
Provide academic advising and support to students, helping them set goals and achieve their educational objectives.
Foster a culture of mentorship by guiding students in their personal and academic development.
Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues regarding student progress and classroom activities.
Assess student performance through various evaluation methods, providing constructive feedback to promote improvement.
Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay current with educational best practices.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field; teaching certification preferred.
Experience in classroom management and a demonstrated ability to create an engaging learning environment.
AP experience a must
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to connect with students of diverse backgrounds.
Proven experience in mentoring or advising students academically or personally.
A passion for education and a commitment to fostering student success.
