Job Description

Are you a connector who thrives on opening doors and creating partnerships? We're looking for a PR & Business Development Officer to be the driving force behind the visibility of Triumph of the Heart, a feature film under the Sherwood Fellows studio. This is your chance to be on the front lines, shaping how the Catholic world engages with our film.

What You'll Do:
Ideate and identify the most potent influencers and leaders to court on the national level to help us successfully release the film.
Build strategic relationships with national apostolates, newspapers, magazines, influencers, podcasters, and Catholic-based companies. This will involve cold calling and email outreach, as well as following up with already established leads. Secure earned media through partnerships and co-branded campaigns. Be the face of the film to critical stakeholders in the Catholic media and business ecosystem.
Write press releases and make sure they get into the hands of influencers. Own outreach and negotiations from start to finish.
We have lots of volunteers who want to help. Onboard them and turn them into a PR powerhouse.

You Are:
A connector with a track record of developing strong partnerships across multiple industries (bonus if you've got Catholic media or business experience).
Someone with hustle. You know how to create opportunities and take advantage of them.
Strategic and creative. You understand how to align interests and create partnerships that feel like a no-brainer.
A master communicator-both written and verbal. You know how to tailor your message to your audience.
Results-driven. You care about outcomes, not just outputs.

Requirements:
Proven experience in PR, business development, or partnerships.
Catholic Missionary or Ministry Experience is a plus
Familiarity with the Catholic world is MUST.
Ability to work independently, set goals, and crush them.
Strong organizational and project management skills.

Reporting, Compensation, & Term:
