Job Description
Full time, on-site, $55,000 salarySpanish fluency strongly preferred
BA and some administrative experience required
We are seeking someone who truly understands and is passionate about the organization's mission. The ideal candidate is in love with the miracle of life, while also understanding the complex challenges that come with crisis pregnancies. This person should be willing to learn, grow, and tackle the challenges of this important work with dedication and compassion.
Key Director Responsibilities
- Leadership & Vision: Commit to and embody the organization's mission, core values, and overall direction. Set clear, inspiring direction for staff and volunteers, ensuring the values and mission are reflected in all programs and activities. Communicate the organization's vision and mission to a variety of audiences (clients, supporters,
volunteers, and staff) in a way that is vibrant, engaging, and compelling.
- Strategic Planning & Implementation: Develop and execute strategic plans that align with the Board's overall goals. Ensure the successful implementation of initiatives in areas such as marketing, technology, and branding to promote the organization and its mission.
- Program Development & Management: Oversee all client services and program development, including needs assessment, program evaluation, innovation, and implementation. Ensure that the organization's programs effectively meet the needs of clients while maintaining high standards of care.
- Resource Stewardship: Manage the organization's resources, including budgeting, bookkeeping, and financial oversight. Ensure the effective and efficient allocation of funds to meet programmatic and operational goals.
- Fundraising & Development: Lead and manage all fundraising efforts, developing strategies to secure financial support from individual donors, foundations, and community partners. Cultivate relationships with donors and supporters to grow the organization's financial base.
- Team Leadership & Management: Manage and support staff, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment. Provide guidance, mentoring, and ongoing development for team members to achieve organizational goals.
Qualities:
- Ability to set and communicate a clear vision for the organization.
- Capable of motivating staff, volunteers, and supporters to embody the organization's mission.
- Ability to turn high-level goals into actionable, implementable plans, with enough adaptability to adjust plans to meet changing needs.
- Experience with assessing program needs, measuring outcomes, and implementing program improvements.
- Proficient in budgeting, bookkeeping, and financial oversight to ensure responsible use of resources.
- Strong interpersonal skills to cultivate and maintain donor and supporter relationships. Experience in fundraising and event planning is a strong plus. Grant experience is desired but not required.
- Ability to foster a positive, collaborative, and productive work environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
