HOLY CROSS FAMILY MINISTRIES FOUNDATION
Holy Cross Family Ministries seeks an experienced, mission-driven, proven advancement professional as its Advancement Research Associate ready to build upon the significant growth and success of a relatively young, well-respected, and effective national program. Located in Easton, MA on the nearby grounds of the prestigious, Congregation of Holy Cross sponsored Stonehill College, Holy Cross Family Ministries is blessed with a sizable endowment, multiple long-established and proven ministries across the United States and in sixteen other countries on five continents across the world. Founded by the well-known and beloved Venerable Patrick Peyton, C.S.C., "The Rosary Priest," in 1942, the Foundation provides the oversight of the endowment and leadership in broadening and growing significant philanthropic support to assure the long-term life and impact of the Ministries.

POSITION DESCRIPTION:
The Advancement Research Analyst reports to the Executive Director of Advancement.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Advancement Research Analyst reports to and works closely with the Executive Director while collaborating with other staff to assist in the day-to-day operations to help achieve the goals of the Advancement Department. The Advancement Department is responsible for the fundraising activities that support all the programs of Holy Cross Family Ministries. The Advancement program includes but is not limited to the following elements: direct mail marketing, major gifts, corporate sponsorships, grant research and writing, print and electronic donor communications, planned giving, and special events.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Perform prospect research and analysis on individuals, religious organizations, corporations, and foundations.
• Support the identification, qualification, and research of major/planned gift prospects.
• Update and clean prospect data.
• Recommend operational improvements.
• Provide quantitative and qualitative analysis.
• Support Advancement with special projects and perform other duties as needed.

GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS/COMPETENCIES:
• Fundamental knowledge and belief in the Catholic / Christian faith traditions
• Aptitude for qualitative and quantitative information
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Experience in presenting data
• Proactive and creative problem solver
• At least 2 years of relevant work experience
• Computer literacy MS Office 365, including Teams, Excel, PowerPoint; Zoom
• Proficiency with Raiser's Edge or other CRM databases
• Experience working with Grants and Grant Writing a plus

• Bachelor's degree
