Job Description

POSITION/JOB GOAL:

Chesterton Academy of Our Lady of Guadalupe is seeking a passionate and dedicated full-time teacher in Literature and/or Theology. The ideal candidate will have a background in the Liberal Arts, a love for teaching, and a commitment to the Catholic intellectual tradition. In this role, the selected candidate will provide instruction in disciplines according to the Chesterton Academy Classical Curriculum. The selected candidate will also act as a role model for the students, and work in collaboration with faculty and staff in furthering the mission of the academy.

QUALIFICATIONS:
• A bachelor's or master's degree in the liberal arts or related
discipline is required.
• Two to Five years of teaching experience is preferred.
• A familiarity with Classical Education is preferred.
• Must be a practicing Catholic willing to take an Oath of Fidelity to
the Magisterium and a Profession of Faith.
• Must demonstrate excellent organizational, written, and verbal
communication skills.
• Possess an understanding of the vision and mission of an
apostolic and educational enterprise.

SALARY RANGE: Commensurate with experience and education.
