High School: Humanities Teacher. Full-time (Part-time available).

Chesterton Academy of the Rogue Valley is a joyful, classical high school, rooted in the Catholic faith. We are seeking a talented and dynamic full-time Humanities teacher, most notably History and Philosophy, to join our team for the 2025-26 academic year. We may also consider willingness to teach Math, Science, Debate, or other subjects in calculating full or part-time status. It is also a great location for experienced educators aspiring to have a more profound and focused impact by working with a smaller cohort of students. Our school is part of a Chesterton Schools Network which provides detailed course plans for each subject. Experience in and passion for Catholic classical education is a bonus. The ideal candidate will have an understanding and appreciation of an integrated curriculum which allows for the connection between the humanities and the arts/sciences.

The candidate must be a practicing Catholic able to actively mentor the students in the faith, and willing to take the Oath of Fidelity to the Magisterium. Candidates must demonstrate excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills, classroom management and possess a track record of contributing to the vision and mission of an apostolic and educational enterprise.

Job Requirements:
* Must be practicing Roman Catholic and demonstrate a commitment to Catholic secondary education (Required)
* Bachelor's Degree (Required)
* Master's Degree (Preferred)
* 3-5 years of teaching experience in secondary school (Preferred)
* 2+ years teaching experience in a classical school environment (Preferred)
* Exemplary verbal and written communication skills (Required).
* Clean background check to work with minors (Required)
