Job Description

We have an excellent opportunity available for an Underwriting Assistant. The person in this position will be responsible for inputting data to compute premiums on new business and renewals, corresponding with sources for rating and policy issuance, and maintain accurate documents by keeping the policy forms and other sources updated with the correct information.

This position requires great attention to detail, organizational skills, problem-solving skills and typing skills. Proficiency with data entry, Microsoft Word and Excel is required. Requirements of this position include a high school degree and a minimum of one to three years prior office/insurance experience.
