Job Description

We are seeking a 4th Grade Teacher with an understanding of NYS Next Generation Standards for the remainder of the 2024-2025 school year. IMMEDIATE Start.

This teaching position is self-contained and will require teaching all main subjects (Math, ELA, Science and SS), including Religion.

Candidates must be committed to the mission of Catholic education, and work cooperatively with our Elementary School Team. The ideal candidate will have a background in elementary education. Strong Classroom Management skills required. New York State Certification or be eligible for certification in Elementary Education 1-6, is a plus with a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree. Will be responsible for creating lesson plans, delivering lessons, and providing guidance to students, among other responsibilities. They will also be expected to assess student progress and provide feedback on their performance.

Salary is determined by years of full time classroom teaching experience and highest degree as per the DRVC Teacher Pay Scale.
