Job Description

On-site Graphic Designer
Location: St. Theresa Catholic Church in Memorial Park

Overview:

St. Theresa Catholic Church is seeking an experienced Graphic Designer to join our team. This is a 30-hour on-site position with flexible hours. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in producing high-quality creative content from concept to completion. As a key communications team member, you will develop visual content across print and digital media.

- Develop high-quality designs from concept to final products for print and digital platforms.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure creative projects align with the church's branding and marketing strategies.
- Create visually compelling content, including brochures, flyers, social media graphics, and video materials.
-Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are consistently met.
- Lead and maintain brand consistency across all design projects while varying styles and layouts as required.
- Troubleshoot production challenges and find creative solutions to deliver exceptional results.
- Attend evening or weekend events to take pictures and videos for social media.

About You:

- More than 5 years of graphic design experience.
- Bachelor's degree in graphic design, fine arts, communications, or a related field.
- Exceptional creativity and innovative design skills.
- Proficient in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively under pressure.
- Proven ability to translate strategic direction into high-quality designs that align with an established brand identity.
- Demonstrated experience in photography, and visual storytelling through multimedia.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Availability to work on evenings and weekends.
- A portfolio showcasing your expertise in graphic design, and multimedia storytelling.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Demonstrated experience in video graphics and video production.
- Experience managing multiple projects under tight deadlines with strict quality control standards.
- Leadership capabilities with a proven track record of fostering collaboration and achieving creative goals.

Work Schedule:

- This is a 30-hour on-site position with flexible hours to accommodate personal and project needs.
- Saturdays, Sundays, and weekday evenings are part of the working hours to cover events and services as needed. While not all weekends are required, availability should not be sporadic.
