Job Description

The Global 2033 initiative is a collaborative project involving a consortium of leaders and organizations with the goal of sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ to everyone. This initiative focuses on mobilizing missionary disciples to share the Gospel with those who have not had the opportunity to hear the good news worldwide in the years leading up to 2033 : the 2000th anniversary of the redemption accomplished by the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, Pentecost and the Great Commission. Over the course of a decade, this consortium aims to promote evangelistic dynamism within the Catholic Church, centering around four pillars: prayer, disciple mobilization, kerygma, and mission. It represents a joint effort to foster unity within the Body of Christ, inspired by the spirit of John 17 to make a significant impact on a global scale by fulfilling the Great Commission of Jesus Christ.

SCOPE: Coordinating and facilitating the implementation of the vision and tools of Global 2033, especially the G33 Video Series into US parishes to achieve the mission of equipping and mobilizing 133 million Catholics to become Missionary Disciples.

OVERVIEW: The Global 2033 US Parish Program Development Director will lead the implementation of the Global 2033 Basic Parish Plan within selected parishes across the United States. This individual will work closely with parish leadership to identify, train, and empower parishioners in evangelization techniques, leveraging the Global 2033 video series to cultivate a missionary discipleship lifestyle. The overarching goal is to cultivate joy-filled parish communities and foster numerical growth through the return of Catholics and new conversions.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Collaborate with Parish Leadership: Forge strong partnerships with pastoral leaders in selected parishes to identify suitable candidates for leading the training and establish cohesive strategies for program implementation.

2. Training Program Management: Work along side parish leadership to mobilize individuals from the parish community : "champions" to lead the Global 2033 training program.Provide coaching and support to champions as they organize and facilitate the training program within the parish community.

3. Training Facilitation: Oversee the delivery of the initial training program using the Global 2033 video series. Provide guidance and support to parish teams as they engage in practical evangelization experiences and develop skills in sharing their faith effectively. Ensure sensitivity to existing parish ministries and select recruits who can contribute positively to the parish's mission.

4. Team Formation and Coaching: Assist initial trainees informing small parish teams responsible for training additional parishioners. Offer ongoing coaching and support to these teams to ensure the successful dissemination of evangelization skills within the parish community.

5. Program Customization: Tailor program activities to suit the specific needs and context of each parish, which may include visitation to lapsed parish members, follow-up training for participants of other parish programs, or integration into existing catechetical initiatives.

6. Outcome Tracking: Develop and implement systems for tracking key program metrics, including enrollment, completion rates, acts of mercy, instances of sharing the faith, and numerical growth indicators. Analyze data to evaluate program effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.

7. Reporting and Documentation: Prepare regular reports on program progress, outcomes, and challenges for internal and external stakeholders. Maintain accurate documentation of program activities, participant feedback, and best practices for future reference.

QUALIFICATIONS
* Bachelor's degree in theology, religious studies, pastoral ministry, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
* Strong understanding of Catholic teachings and evangelization principles.
* Previous experience in parish ministry, evangelization programs, or community development.
* Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
* Proven leadership abilities, including the capacity to motivate and support teams in achieving shared goals.
* Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
* Willingness to travel to selected parishes within the United States as needed.
