Coordinator of Youth Ministry

Job Description

Saint Bede Catholic Church in Williamsburg, VA is seeking a full-time, Youth Minister who loves working with young people. The person in this position will work as a team with our other youth minister to grow and develop our middle school and high school youth by leading them closer to Christ. These ministers creatively and energetically help form intentional disciples of Christ within our parish. They work with high school and middle school youth. This position also includes overseeing young adult networking opportunities. The chosen candidate will work with our Evangelization Team.
Excellent leadership qualities, strong communication and organizational skills, social media and technology skills and the ability to coordinate, train and empower volunteers are necessary. The ability to work as a part of a team is essential. Bachelor's degree in Theology, Religious Ed, Catholic Studies or related field is preferred but previous experience in this field will be considered. Must be a practicing Catholic in good standing with the church.
