Job Description

Immediate Opening: FT Business Manager at Precious Blood Catholic Church in Culpeper, VA. Reporting to the Pastor, the Business Manager is responsible for the supervision and management of financial and accounting functions, human resources functions, facilities and office operations, administrative functions, and the related processes and systems for the Parish.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities include Budgeting and Financial Control, Financial Records and Reporting, Personnel and Human Resources Compliance, Office of Child Protection Liaison and Compliance, Facilities and Office Management, Maintenance of social media (website, Facebook, etc.), Other Duties, as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Requires significant coordination with the Pastor and other Parish staff, participation in staff planning and operational meetings, meetings with vendors and parish advisory councils. Must be sensitive to the nature of information he or she has access to and must treat it confidentially. A Bachelor's Degree in accounting or related financial/management field is preferred. Must have an understanding and appreciation for the Catholic faith. Proficiency with QuickBooks and Microsoft Office. Excellent communication and writing skills are a must.
