Job Description

Holy Spirit High School is seeking an innovative, collaborative Catholic leader rooted in the teaching, traditions, and service ministry of the Church who will nurture and promote the development of strong Catholic leaders and citizens for the 21st Century. The Principal works collaboratively with the Board of Trustees and the Office of Catholic Schools. The next Principal will build on the successes of the school and advance its role in the community through new approaches to curriculum and living the Catholic faith. This candidate will need to balance the strong religious and academic traditions of the school with innovations to meet the needs of today's students and families, and secure the long-term operational sustainability of the school.

Holy Spirit High School is a welcoming Catholic school community in the Roman Catholic Diocese of Camden, located in Absecon, New Jersey. Holy Spirit, established in 1923, is a co-educational college preparatory diocesan high school with approximately 330 students and a faculty/staff of 42. Holy Spirit High School is accredited by Middle States Association (MSA) and is a member of the National Catholic Education Association (NCEA). Holy Spirit High School operates with a traditional model with the Principal as the head of school and is locally governed by a Board of Trustees appointed by the Bishop for Diocese of Camden.

Qualifications
- A practicing Catholic who possesses the knowledge and skills to share the truths of the Catholic Faith with students, parents, and staff
- Master's Degree
- Valid New Jersey Certification or equivalent (preferred).
- Five years of high school teaching and/or educational administrative experience, preferably in Catholic Schools
- High School administrative experience
- Evidence of competency in managerial, communicative, and collaborative skills
