Job Description

Regina Coeli Academy in Abington, Pennsylvania is looking for an Elementary School Catholic educator who seeks to work with like-minded faculty and families. Candidates should be willing to teach the time-tested Classical curriculum while integrating the Magisterial teaching and traditions of the Catholic church. The position requires teaching across the curriculum of Religion, Math, Grammar, Composition, Reading Instruction, and World History. New teachers will have access to a mentorship program, as well as access to ongoing professional development tailored to individual and communal needs. All teachers receive instructional support; student disciplinary; and support for differentiated instruction, student success.

Salary is commensurate with teaching experience and degrees. Required:
• Bachelor's Degree
• Willingness to sign an Oath of Fidelity to all the magisterial teachings of the Church
• Flexibility and enthusiasm for teamwork, collaboration, and collective efficacy
• Excellent communication skills
• Willingness to learn and embrace the Classical education
• Ability to pass all background checks; PA state clearances

Preferred:
• Teaching experience
• Experience with classical education
• Willingness to support and serve co-curricular activities

Responsibilities:
• Lesson planning, lesson execution, and effective classroom management
• Weekly dismissal and recess duties
• Participation in occasional school & community events
• Perform all other duties outlined in our Faculty Handbook, or assigned by the Principal or Deans.
