Job Description
The responsibilities include establishing, directing, teaching, and maintaining an adult choir and a children's choir for parish liturgies. It is expected that these choirs will facilitate a deeper atmosphere of prayer through appropriate liturgical music. Continuous recruitment and training is anticipated for choir members and Mass cantors. The Director of Music shall collaborate with the pastor, parish musicians, and liturgy committee. Applicants are preferred to be practicing Catholics withan above average experience of the Church's liturgy. Effective communication and organizational skills are a must, as is a positive and prayerful attitude.
