Job Description
St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Edmond, Oklahoma of the Archdiocese of Oklahoma City, a parish of 4,000, families, is seeking a full-time Director of Music and Organist to work with cantors, adult choir, and school-aged choirs to continue developing our sacred music program. The Director of Music and Organist is responsible for directing all aspects of the sacred music program including planning and providing music for weekend Masses, weekly school Masses, Holy Days of Obligation, funerals, weddings, and other liturgical celebrations. The ideal candidate should be proficient in choral conducting, organ, and Catholic liturgy. Requirements include holding a bachelor's degree in music or a related field and 2 - 5 years equivalent experience.

Compensation and Benefits:
Salary Range for this position is: $50,000 - $70,000 dependent on education and years of experience.
