Job Description:
Petrus Development is seeking a talented and creative Freelance Graphic Designer to join our team on a contractor basis. The chosen candidate will be responsible for designing print materials for nonprofit fundraising campaigns. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to meaningful causes while showcasing your design skills and creativity.

Responsibilities

Conceptualization and Ideation: Collaborate directly with nonprofit staff to clarify project case for support. Brainstorm and develop creative concepts and design solutions that effectively communicate the mission and goals of the nonprofit.

Designing Print Materials: Create visually appealing, compelling, and functional print materials, including but not limited to campaign case statements, brochures, letterhead, pledge forms, envelopes, proposal templates, and thank you cards, adhering to brand guidelines and campaign objectives.

Collaboration with Petrus Consultants: Partner with Petrus consultants to create materials that meet fundraising best practices while meeting the needs of the project. Communicate regularly with consultants and clients about project needs and progress.

Tailoring Designs for Target Audience: Understand the target audience of each fundraising campaign and tailor designs accordingly to resonate with Catholic donors and supporters.

Attention to Detail: Ensure accuracy in all aspects of design, including typography, layout, color schemes, and imagery, while maintaining consistency and professionalism.

Adherence to Deadlines: Manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver high-quality designs within specified timelines.

Feedback Incorporation: Incorporate feedback and revisions from consultants, clients, and internal stakeholders to refine designs and achieve desired outcomes.

Requirements:

-Proven experience as a graphic designer with a portfolio showcasing print design work.

-Proficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).

-Strong understanding of typography, layout, color theory, and visual hierarchy.

-Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

-Ability to work independently and efficiently, with a keen eye for detail.

-Prior experience with nonprofit fundraising is a plus.

-Prior experience working with nonprofit organizations within the Catholic sector is a plus.

-Flexibility to accommodate project demands and revisions based on client feedback.

-A commitment to delivering high-quality designs that align with the values and mission of Catholic nonprofit organizations.

Compensation:
Competitive salary based on experience
