Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities
• Assist with investments including keeping records, working with investment consultant and asset managers, and supporting Socially Responsible Investing efforts
• Create and monitor capital and operations budgets
• Prepare monthly and annual financial statements
• Complete monthly review of financial statements compared to prior year and budget
• Assist with the annual financial statement audit
• Administer Defined Benefit Pension Plan, including working with retirees and actuary
• Oversee biweekly payroll for approximately 75 employees
• Maintain fixed asset records
• Prepare or review journal entries and reconciliations
• Assist with tax filings
• Help with other administrative and operational functions

Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in business administration, accounting, or a similar field
• At least 3 years of experience in finance and/or accounting preferred
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Ability to make decisions, solve problems, be attentive to details, prioritize work, and maintain confidentiality
